Inside Music Today April 27 Show

It has been a very hectic week finalizing preparations for IMT‘s 1st acoustic In Concert Road Show.  We are also in the midst of preparations for the Croft Farm Rockfest ’13.  So it’s a bit crazy, tons of work and also fun.  But first a little info about this week’s show.

From our April 17th taping at Dave & Buster’s we are bringing you Lou Kramer with back-up by Firecracker Betty.  John Monzo has another original song for you this week that we taped on that evening. We also met rapper Diverse Character the same evening, and he is featured on this program.  Angel Casiano is part of the staff of Bucks County Open Mic Night and he gave us a copy of a concept video he had done recently and you will get to view it on this week’s show.

Next week we’re bringing you a second song from The Black Feathers from England.  Can’t wait to hear their beautiful harmonies once again.  Then we are back to the Dave & Buster’s taping with a song from Bob Pettiti and one from Great Blue Buddha.

I am asking all singers, musicians and friends to come out to the Shamrock Pub, 2nd & Reed St. in Center City, Philly, May 5, 5pm to 9pm.  Please come out and support our 1st acoustic In Concert Road Show.  If this is a success, that means more bands can be booked in more places.  IMT wants to show off all the talent that passes through the show.  We want to reach more audiences through more venues.  The audience seeing you on TV is one thing, but performing “live” is what it’s all about.  Please support this event and let’s keep IMT In Concert shows going!

Also, mark your calendars for June 8 ( June 9 raindate) for the Croft Farm Rockfest ’13.  We are so lucky to have friends in the right places that made it possible to acquire this venue.  This is a first for Cherry Hill to host an event like this.  We also want this to be successful, for the same reasons as above.  IMT is trying our best to open doors so talented artists have venues to show their craft.  Artists, please support other artists.  It will surely come back to you.

So please come out to our events.  Just remember, Bill always has really cool surprises at the end of the shows.  So come out and enjoy an evening of music.  If you need further info concerning the shows, go to our website below or e-mail us at the address below.  I’m happy to answer any questions.

Enjoy the weekend.  It should be beautiful! Tune in tonight at MIDNIGHT for our show, only on WMCN! As always, thanks go to our generous sponsors!

Inside Music Today April 20 Show

All of us at IMT are excited.  We want to thank Mike Vagnoni from Out On The Town Entertainment Guide for featuring a very wonderful article about Inside Music Today in his April issue.  A big thank you to Dr. Lou for using his time and talents to write about our program.  We are very blessed to have Mike and Lou offering their assistance, so more talented artists will be aware of the opportunities IMT can offer.  Thank you so much!

We are featuring on this week’s show The Count Josephine Band.  John Carr has been a little under the weather, so I’m hoping his band being on IMT will make him feel a bit better.  We will be seeing John in the not too distant future, since he has agreed to be a part of our 19th anniversary show.  John, it will be so good to see you again!

We also have John Cantamessa back.  I know our media consultant, Barb, will be glad of that!  Dave Weber and his lovely wife, Donna Delany have returned, as have Box of Roxx.  This is a great line-up of talent!

Next week we have a concept video from Angel Casiano.  Then we feature some of the acts we taped just this week at the Bucks County Open Mic Night, this time from Dave & Buster’s.  John Monzo had a new song for us, as did Lou Kramer with back-up by Firecracker Betty.  Rounding out the show, a rap performance from Diverse Character.  Thank you to Howard Durann for inviting us to come out to Dave & Buster’s to capture some more new talent.  We’ll have more from that evening on the May 4th show.

If you’re making plans for Cinco de Mayo, please consider coming out to our first acoustic In Concert Road Show at the Shamrock Pub, 2nd & Reed St., Center City, Philly.  We’ve planned a fun night of music with some really cool surprises.  Come join in the fun Sunday, May 5 from 5pm to 9pm.

We’ve added some bands to the 19th Anniversary Concert.  Joining Volt, Half Daze, No Commitment and If All Else Fails on June 8 will be The Count Josephine Band, Dr. Lou and the Privileged Few and Liquid Island. It will be a great day at Croft Farm in Cherry Hill, NJ.  Plus you know if Bill is in charge, there will be even more surprises!  So save the date for this FREE concert!

I think this is everything to date.  Hope everyone has a chance to get out and enjoy this upcoming weekend and this week’s show!

Our sponsors rock! Be sure to thank them by patronizing their businesses, and remember to tell them you heard about them on Inside Music Today!
