Inside Music Today April 20 Show

All of us at IMT are excited.  We want to thank Mike Vagnoni from Out On The Town Entertainment Guide for featuring a very wonderful article about Inside Music Today in his April issue.  A big thank you to Dr. Lou for using his time and talents to write about our program.  We are very blessed to have Mike and Lou offering their assistance, so more talented artists will be aware of the opportunities IMT can offer.  Thank you so much!

We are featuring on this week’s show The Count Josephine Band.  John Carr has been a little under the weather, so I’m hoping his band being on IMT will make him feel a bit better.  We will be seeing John in the not too distant future, since he has agreed to be a part of our 19th anniversary show.  John, it will be so good to see you again!

We also have John Cantamessa back.  I know our media consultant, Barb, will be glad of that!  Dave Weber and his lovely wife, Donna Delany have returned, as have Box of Roxx.  This is a great line-up of talent!

Next week we have a concept video from Angel Casiano.  Then we feature some of the acts we taped just this week at the Bucks County Open Mic Night, this time from Dave & Buster’s.  John Monzo had a new song for us, as did Lou Kramer with back-up by Firecracker Betty.  Rounding out the show, a rap performance from Diverse Character.  Thank you to Howard Durann for inviting us to come out to Dave & Buster’s to capture some more new talent.  We’ll have more from that evening on the May 4th show.

If you’re making plans for Cinco de Mayo, please consider coming out to our first acoustic In Concert Road Show at the Shamrock Pub, 2nd & Reed St., Center City, Philly.  We’ve planned a fun night of music with some really cool surprises.  Come join in the fun Sunday, May 5 from 5pm to 9pm.

We’ve added some bands to the 19th Anniversary Concert.  Joining Volt, Half Daze, No Commitment and If All Else Fails on June 8 will be The Count Josephine Band, Dr. Lou and the Privileged Few and Liquid Island. It will be a great day at Croft Farm in Cherry Hill, NJ.  Plus you know if Bill is in charge, there will be even more surprises!  So save the date for this FREE concert!

I think this is everything to date.  Hope everyone has a chance to get out and enjoy this upcoming weekend and this week’s show!

Our sponsors rock! Be sure to thank them by patronizing their businesses, and remember to tell them you heard about them on Inside Music Today!

Inside Music Today July 7 Show

I can’t believe it is already July and that means, with this week’s show, IMT will begin its eighth month broadcasting on WMCN!  I feel so blessed.  I thank all our sponsors for believing in us and supporting our efforts to offer an arena to the area’s performers and songwriters.  It is truly wonderful to meet and work with so many talented musicians and singers.  Thank you to everyone who watches our programs.   And thank you to all the performers and all the fans who come out to TV tapings.  Our IMT family continues to grow each week.  We appreciate every one of you!

This week we have more concert footage.  New songs by KJA & The Lonely Teardrops, Liquid Island, The Privileged Few and a Bill O’Brien original.  Bill was able to perform his song with the assistance of John Carr, Dr. Lou and Blair Craft.  Thanks guys.  You all did great, especially since it was so last minute!

Watch it on YouTube!

Our July 14 show, which is being edited as I’m writing this, was taped at Dr. Lou’s Place at the end of June.  The Poet-Lariats returned that night and brought along Uncle Monster for their first IMT appearance.  Nytrous also returned and we recorded some new solo tunes by Dr. Lou.  So next week’s show will return to our normal format.  We will be throwing in some more anniversary concert footage here and there over the rest of the summer.

Don’t forget to click through to our Sponsors List; they make our show possible.  And stay tuned for news of our other Room Two Productions–July’s a busy month for us!

Inside Music Today June 30 show

We’ve got more concert footage this week and next.  This week features The Privileged Few with Dr. Lou.  They will be performing a Paul Kurrey tune.  Paul, we’re all wishing you well in your recovery.  I know you’re up in NYC, so check it out on YouTube in a couple of days!  Also this week, Hebe Music‘s Count Josephine Band as well as Dan Casper and Blue Heather, plus concert chat with Bill, Lou and Mike Vagnoni, from Out on the Town Entertainment Guide.  Mike keeps us all up to date on what’s going on in the club circuit.

See it now on YouTube!

July 7 we have more from KJA & the Lonely Teardrops, Liquid Island, The Privileged Few and a Bill O’Brien original performed by Bill, Dr. Lou from Dr. Lou’s Place, John Carr from Hebe Music and Dr. Lou‘s drummer Blair Craft.  I think it was a great performance being that they never practiced together.  Thanks guys for helping Bill out.  You’re the best!!!

We could never have a show without our sponsors!  Make sure to check out our complete sponsor list and support them.
