Inside Music Today July 27 Show

We’re very busy here at IMT producing new segments for our new fall season.  One new segment will be including information about our family of artists. More info about this as the new season approaches.

Riverz Edge BandThis week’s show consists of footage from the “Rocking for a Cure” event at Dr. Lou’s Place.  We were able to stay long enough to catch 3 great acts, Riverz Edge Band, Ginger Coyle and Underground Rats.  We have one song from each act this week with more to come in upcoming weeks.

Next week is a mixture of outdoor and indoor performances.  We’re outside at the Medford Fireworks with No Commitment.  Then we go indoors with Wendy Betz and the Riseing and move outside again to the “Rock Out Hunger” benefit with Amenti Rover.  Our first time meeting Amenti Rover and they put on a really impressive performance.

I do want to ask our artists to contact us if you have any upcoming events you would like to advertise on IMT.  We will feature as many as we can each week.

Coming up on Saturday, August 3, The DeFused is playing a benefit for Paw It 4ward, which helps animal rescues in need.

Hope you are all enjoying your summer.  All of us here will be working hard to bring new and exciting music, information and events to your TV screen for the fall.  But our 5 shows in August will have some sneak previews, so keep watching!

Inside Music Today October 13 Show

The final touches and surprises for the Philadelphia Music Scene ROCKS for Paul Kurrey event will be wrapped up over the weekend and the big night is this coming Monday.  Hope you have your tickets and will be a part of this worthwhile cause.  IMT will be there along with Dr. Lou and so many talented artists. Don’t miss out on this chance to be a part of  Philadelphia Music scene history!

Tonight’s show features Wendy Betz and the Riseing from The Bus Stop in Pitman, NJ.  A really cool place to catch Wendy and other talented acts from the area.  We have another song from our evening at The Record Collector with Lisa Bouchelle and Bob Burger.  Then back to early IMT with Dr. Frenzy.  If you like heavy and rockin’, they are your band!

The October 13 show is now on YouTube!

Next week we’ll show you one of the first tapings we did with Lisa Bouchelle in her early days, when she was with October Baby.  This definitely shows the ROCK side of Lisa!  We have Dave Weber in the only footage we have with him in a band.  A different side of Dave, performing with The Good Medicine Band.  Wendy Betz is returning with another song from the taping at The Bus Stop, Blue Heather is back and then we are down the shore with Mighty Parrot.

Lots of new activities will be starting up in coming weeks.  I will pass on the info in next week’s blast. Want to get on our mailing list?

Hope to see everyone Monday.  The evening begins early at 4:00PM at Dobbs on South Street, Philly.  Click here for all the info you’ll need to be a part of this once in a lifetime event!
