Inside Music Today July 27 Show

We’re very busy here at IMT producing new segments for our new fall season.  One new segment will be including information about our family of artists. More info about this as the new season approaches.

Riverz Edge BandThis week’s show consists of footage from the “Rocking for a Cure” event at Dr. Lou’s Place.  We were able to stay long enough to catch 3 great acts, Riverz Edge Band, Ginger Coyle and Underground Rats.  We have one song from each act this week with more to come in upcoming weeks.

Next week is a mixture of outdoor and indoor performances.  We’re outside at the Medford Fireworks with No Commitment.  Then we go indoors with Wendy Betz and the Riseing and move outside again to the “Rock Out Hunger” benefit with Amenti Rover.  Our first time meeting Amenti Rover and they put on a really impressive performance.

I do want to ask our artists to contact us if you have any upcoming events you would like to advertise on IMT.  We will feature as many as we can each week.

Coming up on Saturday, August 3, The DeFused is playing a benefit for Paw It 4ward, which helps animal rescues in need.

Hope you are all enjoying your summer.  All of us here will be working hard to bring new and exciting music, information and events to your TV screen for the fall.  But our 5 shows in August will have some sneak previews, so keep watching!

Inside Music Today: Heat Wave Edition

This has been an unbelievable heatwave!  So Bill decided to keep the summer theme and bring to you original songs from some of our outstanding concerts.

no commitment medford 2This week’s show brings us to the Medford Fireworks where we recorded a fantastic show with No Commitment.  It will feature one of the original songs out of many they performed that evening.

Going back to last year’s anniversary show, we have an original from Dr. Lou and the Privileged Few.  You’ll be seeing more of them in the next few weeks since we just taped them this past week at the “Rock Out Hunger” food drive in Burlington Twp.

Then onto last year at Hollystock.  The Genies sounded incredible under a tarp in the pouring rain.  The rain had shorted out the PA system, but they didn’t let that stop them.  And I am so glad I braved the rain to catch their performance!

Last year at Florence’s July 4th Celebration we caught Tommy Conwell, backed up by Throddle, performing for a very eager audience.  A day of 100 degree heat and then a thunderstorm, but his fans waited through all that to catch the terrific show he gave them that evening.

We have an encore presentation of Bill & Friends from this year’s Croft Farm Rockfest ’13.  He just likes to remind everyone “Do not drink & drive!”

Our July 27 show will include all-new footage from recent events!

Two events coming up this Sunday and next Saturday:

For our country music fans, you can enjoy our producer Bill singing harmonies and playing the keys with The Trump BoyzSunday, July 21, 7:00 – 8:30 PM at Hainesport Concert in the Park, Marne Highway, 1 Hainesport Center, Hainesport, NJ., next to the Muncipal Bldg., in the Gazebo.  Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy the great music and the beautiful park.

Then on Saturday, July 27, one more chance to catch The Trump Boyz, with Bill, at the Pine Barrens Festival, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle, NJ.  This is a great event.  A full carnival, plenty of food, a Beer Garden, 50/50’s.  Probably an all day event, but The Trump Boyz go on at 9:00 PM.  Info 609-268-8383.

Now that our anniversary concert is a wonderful memory, IMT should be returning to a normal routine.  At least as normal as it can get for summer.

I want to thank all of the fantastic bands that performed at the concert.  Thank you to No Commitment,

Dr. Lou & the Privileged Few

I would also like to thank Angel Casiano and John Carr for singing the National Anthem with Bill.  Thanks to Angel, Lou Pica and John Moceri for backing up Bill on his original “Arrive Alive.”

And special, special thanks to John Carr for bringing the backline and PA, plus setting up the bands the whole day.  John you are the best!  Footage of the day will begin airing next Saturday.  Of course, on IMT we can only air the original music.

I’m sorry for anyone who did not attend the concert, because you missed out on all the remarkably entertaining cover songs all the bands rocked out on that day.  You’ll only be able to enjoy the originals that IMT will present on the next few shows.

Next concert, make sure to come out and listen to great bands performing a collective of classic rock, in addition to their original songs.

Tonight’s show features The Black Feathers from our taping in early spring at Dr. Lou’s Place.  Because of so many requests, Artisan has returned with their most talked about original.  Then from a fundraiser held at The Coastline, a song from Danny & the Juniors and another from Blue Heather.

Next week IMT will begin the airing of Croft Farm Rockfest footage.  The bands will be listed in next week’s blast.  I don’t want to forget to thank our concert sponsors.  Thank you to ‘mom’ from Woodstock Trading Company, our newest sponsor.  Stop in and check out all the great merchandise.  I know you will love this place!

And last, but not least, the biggest thanks goes to Mark Oberstaedt.  Mark, we could never have pulled this off without you. Our deepest gratitude for everything you did to make this a wonderful project on which to work.  And thanks to No Commitment for allowing Bill to sing “Smoke on the Water” with you that day.  Thank you Mark for the suggestion!

IMT Anniversary Concert and Tonight’s Program

Despite all of yesterday’s rain, Croft Farm is ready for us, so the concert will begin as scheduled at 2 PM TODAY!

Rockfest 009This afternoon, all your favorite bands will take this stage and rock Cherry Hill! We hope you’re as excited as we are to celebrate our 19th anniversary with a day of music. We’re thrilled that yesterday’s rain didn’t get in the way of today’s plans for a fun day of music.

Due to some technical problems with our edit system, we will be rerunning the June 1 show this week.  We apologize for this problem. It’ll be a concert recap with music by No Commitment and Volt!

The show that should have run June 8 will run June 15, featuring The Black Feathers from England.  Then from a fundraiser we taped at the Coastline several years ago, we will present a song from Blue Heather.  The same evening, Danny & the Juniors performed also.  We have that song that also features Angel Casiano, who we did not know at the time.  How cool it is that Angel now works with us!

We are also featuring a song from Artisan, for which we’ve had many accolades.  So, for their many fans, here it is again!

This week’s show will also prepare everyone for the upcoming concert.  Two of our young bands, No Commitment and Volt have songs featured on the show to get everyone in the mood for this concert.  Bill finishes up his interview with Mayor Chuck Cahn and then interviews Patrick Oberstaedt, lead guitarist of No Commitment.  A very informative as well as entertaining show.

Then after a day of outside music, tune in to IMT at midnight featuring another song from our English friends The Black Feathers and several other surprises.

We’re busy tying up all the loose ends for the concert, so I hope you tune in for this week’s IMT and then we see you next Saturday at Croft Farm! As always, we couldn’t do our TV show or concert without our sponsors, so be sure to patronize their businesses and thank them for helping bring original music to TV in the Delaware Valley!

Enjoy the weekend!
